Pottery has a long tradition in Morocco. Jewels like this bowl are still made by hand on the potter’s wheel. After shaping, they are fired in a pottery furnace and then painted, glazed and decorated – also by hand. A second firing process makes the dishes durable and resistant. The small serving bowl can be washed by hand.
