Ghassoul is a powder that is extracted from this clay without any additives and consists mainly of silicon and magnesium. To clean skin and hair, the powder is mixed with water to form a paste. The peculiarity of this pulp, in addition to its cleansing effect, is that the protective acid film – i.e. the pH value – of the skin is retained.
